What happened when we took Grow It Local on the road for 5 weeks. Here's the wrap.
Body

Hey {{first_name}},
We're back. And honestly, we're still buzzing.
Over the past five weeks, we visited 18 community gardens across NSW, SA, QLD and WA as part of the Autumn Community + Gardening Tour. Here's what that looked like:

  • Hundreds of community members getting their hands dirty together
  • Autumn beds prepped, seeds sown, compost turned, and irrigation sorted
  • Paul West, Costa Georgiadis, Josh Pyke, and Darryl Nichols leading sessions in gardens from Sydney to Perth
  • Local councils showing up and backing their community growing spaces
  • Yates and Seasol products in the hands of growers who'll put them to good use
The best bit? The conversations. The people who showed up not knowing anyone and left swapping phone numbers with their new garden mates. The kids who planted their first seed. The council reps who said "we need to do this again."
That's what Grow It Local is about.
[Watch the tour wrap video →]
Thank you to every council partner, every community garden, and every single person who came along. You made this something special.
And if this has you thinking about growing — we're just getting started. GIL+ members get quarterly seed deliveries, expert guides, and first access to everything we do next.

The Community Tour wrap — gardens visited, people connected, and what's next.
Body

Hey {{first_name}},
Five weeks. Four states. Eighteen community gardens. And a whole lot of dirt under our fingernails.
The Autumn Community + Gardening Tour is officially a wrap, and we wanted to share some of what made it so special.
By the numbers:

  • 18 community garden visits across NSW, SA, QLD and WA
  • Sessions led by Paul West, Darryl Nichols, Costa Georgiadis, and Josh Pyke
  • Free Yates and Seasol products distributed at every stop
  • Local council partners in every region backing community growing
    By the moments:
  • First-time gardeners planting their first autumn seeds
  • Community gardens that hadn't seen this many visitors in years
  • Local mayors rolling up their sleeves and getting stuck in
  • Cuppas shared, recipes swapped, growing tips traded
We captured the whole thing on camera. Have a watch — it's a good one.

18 stops done. Here's what the Autumn Community Tour looked like on the ground.
Body

Hey {{first_name}},
We set out to visit 18 community gardens in 5 weeks. We wanted to get people together, teach some autumn growing skills, and prove that community gardening is alive and well across Australia.
Here's what actually happened: it was better than we imagined.
The highlights:
In NSW, we kicked off in Waverley and Randwick with Costa Georgiadis and a packed crowd of Sydney growers.
In SA, Port Adelaide, Salisbury and West Torrens showed up in force — these communities are seriously passionate about their growing spaces.
In QLD, we covered Logan through to Townsville. Regional gardens with big hearts and even bigger ambitions.
In WA, we wrapped up in Perth with sessions in Vic Park, Rockingham, Mandurah, Vincent and Melville. A fitting end to a tour that reminded us why we do this.
At every stop: Paul West and Darryl Nichols running hands-on sessions. Yates and Seasol products for every attendee. A cuppa and home-grown food. And the kind of conversations that only happen when people who love growing get together in person.
[Watch the full tour wrap video →]
A massive thank you to our council partners, Yates, Seasol, and every person who turned up. This is just the beginning.
Happy growing,
The Grow It Local Team
